GroundWork® Monitoring Architecture

The open-source-based system is used by hundreds of large and small organizations across the globe. It is based on the Nagios open source architecture and it provides us with a powerful and flexible capability to power our unique approach. The following diagram is a broad description of the architecture of the system. Because Nagios is based on open source code, a large community of developers provide significant resources by purely commercial systems. Because of the sheer number of plugins generated by the development community, specialists from WebSphere Expert's Proactive Monitoring Center review new monitoring plugins that become available on a regular basis. WebSphere Experts' personnel also contribute plugins designed to improve the organization's ability to provide a superior level of monitoring to its customers.
