The infrastructure includes all the assets and capabilities used to enable, manage, and support the most proactive monitoring approach in the industry. WASP is composed of the following six key elements.

  2. Transaction Monitoring
  3. Error/Log Monitoring
  4. JVM/Heap Monitoring
  5. WebSphere System Tuning
  6. Full support for 3rd party monitoring tools (CA Wily Introscope, ITCAM)

The diagram in the figure below shows how these six elements are integrated to create a holistic systematic approach that is designed to provide a robust and unique monitoring capability. The sections that follow describe each of the infrastructure element in more detail.
